a three part entry

1. the long delayed look-at-the-last-few-months post:

and a whole bunch more )

2. the good life/bella lea:

four more )

3. the bizzaro world:
i looked all over for a certain stillframe from seinfeld to use for this post. if you've seen the episode with the bizzaro jerry, then you can probably imagine the scene where the two groups of friends meet up on the street by accident. well. i spent saturday night in the bizzaro world with allyson (who i met at byu) and her friends in chandler. it was like everything there was the same as mesa, but still somehow different. pretty much every person i met corresponded exactly to someone i know from mesa. it was very surreal. it was an awesome night.

the end.

bonus: pounce! triumph. reset! is tonight, blood brothers is wednesday, and i'll be in washington thursday-sunday!

bullet update!
-japanese seems to be coming a little easier lately, so that's very encouraging.

-two weeks from today is my last final, and it is likely the last test i will have to take for the next two-and-a-half years.

-i'll be driving home with my friend jacqueline the day after.

-i have tons of ideas for solo stuff, and tons of lyrics written in my drawer, on my computer, under my bed, in my backpack, and floating in my head.

-acoustics has been an amazing class, i can't wait to get back here and start learning more about recording.

-still haven't heard back about my art program application.

-there's a guitar sitting on my legs and a pick in my mouth.

-we have a ridiculous amount of information being stored. it makes you think that there would never be any misunderstanding of our times when people study our history a hundred years down the line. but then i realize that people can't even understand what's going on in the present, so whatever people think they know in the future will just be a compromised consensus about the reality we live. i never particularly liked history, because i always felt like i was being lied to. or at least misled. so yeah, don't believe what you read. even if the facts you are reading about happen to be true, they're only being given to you to fulfill someone else's agenda. so i try to study lots of sources and always remain a skeptic.

-i went to a japanese restaurant today. it's funny just how americanized it was. i can't wait to see how they serve "american food" in japan.

-hey, i'll make it a picture post too.

yeah! )

one more thing! audioscrobbler's been around for a while, but only (relatively) recently got the windows iTunes plug-in done. if you don't have it already, you might want to check it out. it's an awesome little tool. here's my page, if you'd like to go see what my music tastes have been like recently: http://www.audioscrobbler.com/user/largepork/

so yeah, if you have audioscrobbler, post a link to your page so i can add you as a friend/spy on your listening habits. thanks.

i'm trying to be deferential here/you're old. with a shake of my head and gesture of my hand. take the seat.
---the two old ladies insistently squeeze in close on their bench, leaving an open seat on the bench opposite them. i guess i'll sit down.
